The Work Room brings professionals together to connect, learn, work, and grow.
We're looking for community members who want to help make these experiences happen.
Whether you enjoy meeting new people, organizing events, creating content, or working behind the scenes, there's an opportunity to get involved.
You don't need to volunteer at every event. Choose the opportunities that fit your interests and availability.
Ways to help
Registration & Welcome
In person · About 30 to 60 minutes per event
- Welcome people as they arrive
- Check registrations and help people sign up
- Confirm people have joined The Work Room
- Answer basic questions and point people the right way
Event Host & Facilitator
In person · The event, or an assigned part of it
- Explain how the event works
- Introduce people and presenters
- Run the coworking sign-up board
- Help with demos, strategy talks, and asks for help
- Give time reminders and keep things moving
Social Media & Content
In person or virtual · About 1 to 2 hours
- Take casual photos and short videos
- Post Instagram stories during events
- Make simple recap clips and share highlights
- Virtual helpers can schedule and organize posts
Authentic and simple. No professional gear needed.
Community Outreach
Virtual · About 30 to 60 minutes per round
- Send prewritten invites to approved contacts
- Personally invite members to upcoming events
- Follow up with interested people and track replies
You get the messages ready to go. No writing from scratch.
Event Setup & Cleanup
In person · About 15 to 30 minutes before or after
- Arrange the space and set out signs
- Set up registration materials and supplies
